Burning oil.....

Silver: When I'm driving the car hard, I will burn oil at about the same rate you are. When I'm "cruisin' the blvd", then I won't burn it as much - more like a quart every 3K miles.
What has been your consumption history? Have you changed your driving style/habbits? As you know, it all depends on how the car is driven.
Are you seeing more than usual smoke on start up? Are there drip/drops on the garage floor? (I assume not, as you would have told us if there were.)
From my experience and the lack of anything obvious, I wouldn't think you need to worry about it.
