I just bought a set of the 17" Zuffenhaus fuchs for my 930. Anyone else running them? What tire sizes and brand are you running?

Sorry. I have had a couple of 930's but this one is actually a wide-body targa (M491). It has 300k one-owner miles. The car is currently having the engine rebuilt and a windows-out respray. Pics to follow. I love a targa and finding a 930 targa is difficult!

Your choice of tire brands in these sizes are are limited. I went with: Kumho Ecsta XS, since I drive my beast sparingly and in dry weather only: 315X35/17 and 235X45/17.

Thanks guys. Igooz - saw a pic of your car when it was done. Sick. The pic I saw didnt have center caps. Which ones did you end up going with?

^I bought black oem center caps. They fit in there perfect...just never had the time again to take better photos.

How long did it take to get your wheels? I'd love nothing more than to get a set but nervous about availability. Removed spacers?

Call Alan at Fikse wheels. Good guy. They bought the tooling and make the wheels. Forged stuff made in Canada.

Wait time is around 4 weeks.

You can decide if you want to keep the 28mm spacer on the rear or remove it. They can make the wheels with any offset that you like...with or without the spacer. I kept the stock spacer. I had a thread on this.

I have a set of 11x17 and 9x17 wheels, the tires I run are 315x35x17 on the rear and 255x40x17 on the front.

I called and they had a set in stock. Total time less than 2 weeks. I understand this is a rare situation.

I have Kumho XS tires. I've had good luck with Kumho tires.

There are 2 "lips" available on the barrels. The factory looking OEM or the "J" lip which is more modern. As well as various finishes on the centers. You sure got lucky! +++
