Default 1978 Porsche 930 for sale on ebay

Buy it Now Price: US $98,888.00

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Porsche-930-...US_Cars_Trucks

Nice car and a very cool color (you either love this color or despise it ) BUT this is NOT a $99k car;

NON-original paint .......why with only 54k supposed miles ? ! !?! ?!
NON-original wheels......highly polished
NON-original exhaust ....... dual tips .....not in '78
NON-original door speakers
Disgusting visors ......looks like my dog chewed 'em (seen in three different photos)
3rd brake light in rear window.........not is '78
NON-original radio
Carpet is stained and matted in places
Deformed/severely creased seat-tops on left sides (as seen from two drivers door photos) how the hell does this happen ? looks like they were squeezed in a vice !

If this car brings $99k then I sold my Red '79 Way tooooo cheaply at $85k
911Turbo (930) Forum > F L A W L E S S '79 Turbo for sale 09-24-13 08:47 PM

I've said many times that I love the fact that these cars are finally being recognized BUT this is another example of someone who has noticed the recent upward trend in Early Turbo prices and is trying to capitalize on this without doing his homework on real values !

Again......Very cool car (I really like the color ) but based on current market values and other cars available, this is a $65-70k car !

I'd much rather have the black '77 Turbo Carrera that is also on ebay and put a few $ into putting it back to original

Just my opinion !

Those creases are definitely really weird! I wonder if this car spent time in Hawaii? When I was in high school, one of my friends' fathers had a 930 this exact same color.

Back in the late seventies or early eighties, the first 930 I ever went for a ride in was that color with brown interior and had rims that were painted the same color as the car. It was one of those childhood experiences that always stay with you.

I'd rather have the black one too..this one has a rare color but the sellers rep is questionable..a lot of bad and some good..it's one of those deals that would require the seller to view the car in person before purchase.

Oh and this one has the balloon visors as well..why can't a seller remove them and have them repaired correctly..wtf put a little effort into the presentation of the car...they want top dollar with very little effort...lazy *****...ok rant over:-)

It lists the color as Bamboo Beige. The color looks to be Cashmere Beige (502).

That first one has a borla exhaust, mounted crooked, puffy visors, no thanks for 98k.
The second is a much better buy, simple, reversible boltons.

This too is a joke ! Victory claims to be THE Largest Porsche destination yet they fail to mention that this is a "Grey market" import and the Douche-bag has even listed the car as Sienna Brown when it is obviously Copper Brown Metallic (code 443) ..... for that matter, Porsche doesn't even have a Sienna Brown in '78

Default Apologies !

Mea Culpa ........I re-read the Victory ad and I stand corrected.

It clearly states that the; "4-SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION IS FINISHED IN SIENNA METALLIC", not the car !

No not cashmere beige, I had one of those, it is a kind of off white pale yellow, hated it when I owned but looking at it now I like it, go figure. The black 77 has MT plates- it's like MT has become turbo Carrera central, LOL.

Richard Sloan has a '78 930 for sale that lists the color as Sienna Brown Metallic paint code #436 (In the address bar it says 'Copper Metallic'). It does look similar to Copper Brown Metallic paint code #443. Interestingly both colors were offered the previous year.
