The additional fuel system was not an EFI system. I converted to one. Before I used the Turbolink controller by Link. VERY good system. As I said, it controlled the fuel, Intercepted the Ignition to retard and had boost control. After I did my engine upgrade, I changed over to one of their EFI systems.
As for having almost 400 WHP without fuel issues, this proves how basic the CIS system is. It just pours in the fuel. The difference is huge when you can tune the fuel for RPM and MAP. You won't believe the difference.

I also had my manifold flowed since the design is crap and the intake runners don't flow evenly. Which in turn means and uneven A/F from one cylinder to another. I just had the stock injector blocks tapered to prevent any turbulance.

Thanks M42racer, I'll check Link out. I'm really interested in playing with an add on system like that. I recently ordered a wideband and laptop to datalog with and perhaps an add on like that will allow me to play more and still pass the Visual part of California Smog. Mike
