Question about wheels
I am finally getting my car to Lufteknic, and know from reading several threads that the 16 inch wheels do not have readily available tires... Am curious as to the 7.5 and 9.5 Fuchs I was given in sale being the right size for a 1987 930s? The HREs on it now are 18's and look great, but still deciding if will try to get original headers, exhaust and wheels back on car... Thx fellas...

I love many of aftermarket wheel options available BUT I am partial to the original look on these cars.
Most people are not aware that the "Fuchs" wheel is the first mass produced "Mag wheel" in the world ever offered on any production car !
It's tough to beat the Original Porsche Design which is now 50 years old !
Go back to 16x7 & 16x9

Toyo Proxes R888 - These are what I run on the 930. Yes they are a streetable competition tire and are overkill for street use but when tire selection is slim you gotta go with what's available!
225/45R16 Front
245/45R16 Rear
Bridgestone Potenza RE-11 - With these tires I would prefer to run the 205 front width vs. 225.
205/55R16 Front
245/45R16 Rear
Your car will feel more responsive on the street with the lighter 16" Fuchs wheels and potentially shorter diameter tires!
