Default Z-Codes / Special Wishes - effect on value?

Hey,

I have an '86 930 with about 35k km's on the clock and it has below Z-Codes and these are checked from PAG-system.

I don't have plans to sell the car but I was just wondering about the "value" - if any - of the car being a special wishes car even though it's only interior stuff and not the desired slant / more powerful engine.

Any insight / thoughts on this.

I did try to search but didn't find anything...

0658 - Colour Pearleffect - White - Herbol 947
0030 - Front- and rear seat only in combination with Code 98/9 or 94/ 95
full leather
0209 - Full leather interior package in individual colour - see enclosed
sketch - only with interior 98
0830 - steering wheel/ hub cushion/ impact absorber leather pearl white -
leather in individual colour 99
0546 - sun visors in leather pear white (mirror covered)
0744 - roof liner in leather grey-green (standard colour) with A- and
B-column (leather in individual colour pear white)

I'll post same reply as I posted on Pelican-forum:

Hi,

it is a RoW car which has been originally delivered to Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates when new. Supposedly it was ordered by one of the princes who belong to Abu Dhabi ruling family and his brother ordered a 911 Turbo also but with red exterior and red interior; the red car was totaled as per the story.

I have no idea whether or not the story is true or not but it could be as I used to live in Dubai, UAE where I bought the car from - currently the car resides in Europe. It does have extensive history / documentation along with the car but name of the 1st owner is not there. Perhaps I could ask from AD Porsche if they have any info about this car. (edit: I did send an email to them - let's see how co-operative they are...)

Anyways the point was to check the potential value of the Special Wishes interior bits and bobs.

This is the car in question:

I dont have ROW pricing and options codes, sorry. Just USA. 98 and 99 paint to sample and interior to sample are pretty rare however in the states. I would say less than 1 in 20 for each one. A car with both, perhaps 1 in 50-75. I saw some of your options were flagged as requiring both 98 and 99 so I assume you had those 2 as well.

UDPride, if You don't mind sharing USA pricing / codes that would be great? I believe 98/99 are related to front seats and the car has Recaro Idealsitz seats in individual color. Also there are some sort of leather covered "glove boxes" under the dash with Porsche logos in them.

Recaro seats would have been a non-dealer installation. At least for USA cars. Like something Gembella or DP would do.

You either had comfort or sport seats in the US -- both N/C on 86-89 Turbos though comforts were standard. That was it.

Paint to sample was $578 in 1986 for Turbos, for either 98 non metallic or 99 metallic. 97 Interior to sample was $690.

Some work to be done on the interior due to sun which has faded leather in certain areas. It has Recaro Idealsitz electric seats, 2 extra glove-boxes with Porsche logos under the dash etc. I'll take some pics at some point and I'll post them here - the car is currently in storage as winter is approaching...
