Well, Retail on the nose is 425.00 and the group buy gets us another 5 % off of that. I can't get any better of a deal. Whatcha guys think? I was hoping for a better discount than that, but I suppose anything is better than nothing

IS $400 the magic number plus shipping and handling? Doesn't sound like there are very many options.

What happened to all of the interest? I am still in the market and will probably buy one regardless. I will give it another week or so to see if we get any more buyers.

I'm still interested. Been busy lately. But I have been giving it alot of thought.

One thing that has caught my attention though - Of all the widebody cars (especially track-only cars or race cars) I have seen at the track, whether they be 930's or widebodied 911's, I have never seen that front end on any of the cars.

It makes me wonder about the quality, and that has pretty much been my concern. It seems I've heard many more bad things than good things about AIR, and I'm having a hard time getting past that.

Rickc : I still want one, I just haven't convinced myself yet to buy one due to the quality concerns.

Not that the $25 doesn't matter but that doesn't seem to be a very good group discount - unless of course shipping is included at no extra charge. AIR quoted me a price of $95 to ship it a long while ago, so if you are saving $25, plus get free shipping, then it seems like a killer deal, and one which I would definitely jump on.

$25 doesn't give me much incentive to run right out...but I have not seen anything like this by another mfr. If they can offer a better deal on the shipping I may elect to go this route.
Not seeing this at the track may also be a double edged sword.....you can't confirm the quality but you can guarantee that you won't see another one driving on the way to work. Have you seen the TRE Motorsports front end for the 930?
I may try to e-mail AIR...I can't believe that there is not an example driving around somewhere.
Sounds like a definite maybe doesn't it?

No I haven't seen the TRE 930 front end I don't think.

I will go out to their site and look at it.

On the TRE site I came across this picture of a 934 front valence actually installed on a 930...

Looks rather nice.

I'm going to email them and ask about fitment/quality, as I am sure it is probably the AIR front end.

Looks pretty good.I could see where it might take some work, especially where the smile meets the top edge of the bumper to avoid any gaps.Lots of block sanding with a long board. Good work on finding the photo. Let me know what they say about the piece.

I will keep you informed. We probably won't hear from Dave at TRE until Monday due to the holiday.

If I do hear from him - then I will pass the info along.

I also asked him if he had any more pics, especially any more that focus on the front valence.

Brian
