Post 934 Front End Valence - revisited

Gang:

A few weeks ago, some of you guys were interested in purchasing the 934 style front bumper/valence piece that fits the standard width 930's.

I have been talking to Dave at TRE Motorsports and he says he can get the following piece for us, for a group rate. Even without the group rate, the price is better than the price we were quoted several weeks ago from AIR.

Here is another pic of the front end. Dave is going to send me some pics of an unfinished piece on Thursday (hopefully).

Respond to this post if you are interested. Myself and 1 other person are pretty much commited to buying the piece.

Thanks,

Brian

Don't miss out on the group buy guys...it's significantly cheaper. They don't keep this item on the shelf, so if you change your mind after seeing one of these beauties...you are out of luck until they decide to make more. The shipping costs quoted were also very reasonable.

I don't know why you guys are so concerned with price. When I ordered my parts from AIR I found the prices were really quite good.

With this car I've given up trying to save money. Every time I try, I end up hurting myself. I ordered a less expensive sway bar kit to save a couple of hundred dollars. They came loose on the track because the hardware wasn't strong enough and almost cost me the car... Now I'll order the good ones and spend more...

If your on a budget and trying to save money, guess what? You bought the wrong car... It's a 930. You're never going to save money with a 930.

For me its not as much a money issue, as it is the fact that I've heard so many negative comments about AIR that I just hate to buy from them.

So, yes, money aspects are important, but not the deciding factor, at least for me.

I'm just looking for an alternative. Evidently this piece is made by the same people that make the parts for AIR, plus it is $125 cheaper at the group rate. So although I was not able to find an alternative, I'm saving $125, and technically will have the same piece that will probably fit just as bad as the AIR piece in most respects.

Make sense?

It't the attitude that you get when you call someone up that sell a product....you don't get an attitude when you call up TRE. They make a good product. AIR always sounds like they are doing me a favor...price aside. Yeah, if I can save $125 that's worth a phone call at least.

A930Rocket,
About $700/- excluding shipping and I'm not sure of how to attach pictures here but it's like any other BTR or CTR1 front bumper. Got it from MaShaw. He sometimes does build bumpers for Alois but Ruf sells them for about 2000euro. Big difference huh??

Try to get this level of response from anybody else. That's why I am interested in buying from TRE Motorsports. I think the piece looks great.
