Default Will these BBS wheels fit my 930 turbo?

Hi guys,

I am about to pull the trigger on a set of BBS RS wheels for my 1988 930 turbo. I just wanted to confirm that the offset and size is correct.

Fronts- 16 x 8. Et 28
Rears- 16 x 10. Et 23

Thanks

Kevin

Kevin,
Due to the very limited availability of any 16" tires, I would strongly recommend that you look at 17 or 18" wheels for your 930.

I've been wondering, since there are quite a few 930s with BBS RS, were they ever offered as a factory option? If so, is there an option code?

They will fit but will look kinda silly on a 930 with the stock spacers.

No. No factory BBS option to my knowledge. You could only get Fuchs. You could get the Fuchs in Black of course, but also White Gold Metallic, Grand Prix White, and Wheels Painted Body Color -- each of those had specific option codes depending on 911 model and year.

Perhaps some Porsche dealers had the BBS wheels in their showroom as up-sell add-ons they rolled into the bill of sale, but they never appeared on the window stickers.

I have these on my 930 and it seems like the wheels are swimming under the fenders....what size spacers do I need to get these out to fill in proper....

my car came with these in 79 as a dealer option. I do not know the width or offset yet as I never removed them. I would be surprised if they were 16x8 and 10 considering they are so far in...but if the offsets are same as OP.....then that would explain it I suppose.

Its an acquired taste...which I have not yet acquired. once car is restored these will go.

PS- I have the cobra seats , rs panels and rs rear bumper for sale over on Pelican

The fronts are probably 8's and the rears are probably 9's. You need to get your hands dirty and find out for sure
