I'd say it's Dark Blue (non-metallic) but it's hard to tell from just that one photo.

 

Repaint original color is the safe bet.

Color change is the wrong bet.

No matter how bad the color may be on a collectable car it is the duty of the owner to preserve the history.

Unless the car is completely taken down to the bare tub and built from the ground up into a semi hot rod or race car, one should stick to original color and imbrace it.

You could always do a wrap if you wanted a different color.

 

I don't like wrap. And I like bright colors.
So I think I will repaint my car in Blood Orange.

 

That should be a great look. When you see Ferrari Formula 1 cars at the race they are much more orange than what they look like on TV. Here's an '81?:
