Super nice. Love the interior with the 'hockey puck' steering wheel.

Refer to post #8 "The '80s UngoBox alarm has been removed as well."

Very common dealer installed item in the '80s because these cars were so sought after by naughty people !

The UngoBox alarm was very effective because, Unfortunately, it drew so much electrical current that it would quickly kill the battery and then the bad guy couldn't steal the car !

I always recommend removing them when I come across one !

So ............... the keypad on the dash is now gone !

Cheers !

Default Gotta love the Dominican Republic .........

Gotta love the third world "island nations" ! Car was potentially sold to a VERY nice chap in the Dominican Republic pending custums tariff inquiries !

This gent was told by DR Customs that he would need to pony up 76% additional import tariff before picking up the car at the port !

As of 2001, the maximum basic tariff rate stood at 20%, but there were also levied a luxury tax of up to 60% on "nonessential" goods, a 5% exchange surcharge placed on all imports, and an industrialized goods and services tax of 12% levied on processed goods.

Makes the Peoples Republic of California look downright reasonable !

Oh well ........ He his heartbroken and car is again available !
