Does your car have the 330 hp option that was available on 930’s beginning in 1983? Andreas Gabriel’s new book, “Porsche 911 turbo, Air Cooled Years, 1975-1989” has a full section on this special option (DM 23,585) that contained a larger turbocharger, optimized air cooler and four-pipe exhaust to add the extra 30 hp.

Very nice indeed! Of course I'm partial to white. Dead-ringer for my car except I've got tan interior. Best of luck with the sale.
The specs for my '87 are for 282hp from the factory. I wonder what the specific differences were that resulted in almost 50hp drop from the '84 model?

Thanks guys, I'm typically a silver kind of guy but love white on 930's. Being as this is a Canadian/Euro car, it has come from factory without emission-control devices such as a catalyst, and this '84 330hp/fastest year info has been posted in thread named "Best 930?", as well as when the VIN is decoded it is said as 330hp. It certainly ran much harder than all others we test drove when searching for one.

Here’s the wiki paragraph on the optional 330 hp version. It is a little different from Andreas’ book that has the optional front spoiler at an extra DM 6,645.
The 930 remained available in Europe, and for 1983 a 330 PS (243 kW; 325 hp) performance option became available on a build-to-order basis from Porsche. With the add-on came a 4-pipe exhaust system and an additional oil-cooler requiring a remodelled front spoiler and units bearing the add-on often featured additional ventilation holes in the rear fenders and modified rockers.

Not sure I agree, just ran the VIN through the decoder again but switched the 0 value to a 'S', and comes up not valid..?... anyone else can try there VIN and see if anything is different.. http://autosport911.com/decode.html
