Can anyone comment on what size tire will fit on the factory 16" Fuch's? I would like to go up in size if possible. Thanks

kumo exsta XS are fantastic summer only tires and are available in 265s for the rear. Availablity is hit or miss I think

Thanks aeschen. I assume you have not issues with 265's on the rear? What about 225's on the front?

I have Fuzions on my 86 - they are made by Bridgestone - no issues.

Thanks LHD7, I also have Fusion's on my car but am interested in knowing if I can increase the width to 225's on front and 265's on rear without any issues.

At Firestone:
Bridgestone Potenza RE-11 has the sizes but speed ratings wouldn't match front to rear.
205/55VR16; 245/45WR16

I saw that there was this other brand (Primewell) that has matching speed rating front to rear (V-rated) but it is (based on reviews I looked up) poor quality Chinese made tire and is also sold by Firestone. They're cheap but there's probably a reason they're cheap.

Mario,
My wife and I were out cruising in the 930 today and ended up in your neck of the woods to grab a late lunch at Gasthaus Zur Elli on Main. Alas, it was closed, but we had a great trip home and ended up eating BBQ in Clinton. Maybe one of your neighbors saw us and will mention to you that there was a red 930 lurking about town. We still need to get together.
Claude
