YES MAYBE SOMEONE CAN GIVE ME SOME INFO ON WHAT I NEED TO DO TO MY 1991 RUF 911 TURBO COUPE (GERMAN SPEC) TO GET IT TO THE STATES AND REGISTERED, SOMEONE TOLD ME I NEED TO REMOVE THE SIDE BLINKERS AND COVER THE HOLE, AS WELL AS CHANGE THE CRASH PISTONS IN THE FRONT BUMPER FROM THE CRUSH TYPE TO THE REEXSPANDING TYPE, AS WELL AS SOME CHANGES TO THE HEADLIGHTS, WHAT ELSE

Any exercise which requires bureacratic approval without the benefit of anyone being able to exercise too much discretion needs to be attacked in a pretty comprehensive and thorough manner. <a href="http://www.fiatbarchetta.com/usa/import.html" target="_blank">CLICK HERE</a> for some initial tips (more to get an idea of what you are getting into). Pretty sure you do not need to remove the side markers as many cars in the U.S. have these, as do all ROW Porsches brought in from overseas. I would think a 91 car would need very little in the way of changes.
