What kind of experience(s) has anyone out there had with changing to coil over suspension on a 930? Difficulty? Expense? Vendor(s)? Results? Thanks.

Hi Byron:
There are many ways of converting a Turbo to coilovers but one thing is very important:
I would NOT contemplate this unless you have a full roll cage in your car that connects all of the suspension pickup points together. The front & rear upper shock towers were never designed to handle the weight of the car, both statically and dynamically. These must be connected and reinforced for this modification to work and not damage the tub.
Now, you may certainly add coilovers using a light spring that augments, not replaces the torsion bars without a cage, although I would still weld and box in the rear upper shock console.
Hope this helps,
