Question 964 NA intake

Hello Rennlisters
I founds full width intercooler and 964 NA intake manifold for a very attractive price.
1 How easy are they to mount?
2. Will they make any real difference?
My baby is now 3.4 with stock intake intercooler and exhaust.

One you will have to move over to an EFI setup. The other issue is the injector stacks are 3 bolt and your heads are two bolt. The intake ports are not the same size either. You can machine your own injector stacks and match the bolt pattern and the port size and get it to rok. Also is it the metal intake(89.5) or the plastic? Not that it makes the mounting any easier but they do flow differently.

You are better off trying to find a 3.2 intake and using that. At least from a install stand point. Although those are getting harder to find. Alll things equal the 3.6 intake is a better flowing setup providing the intercooler is not junk.

Thanks for the advise. It does sound like a pita. For $300 I think it's worth me playing around with it. Maybe I'll keep the intercooler and try to sell the intake.
