Hi guys,

New to the forum and I posted this on the wrong part of the forum.

'86 California car and failed the Ca emissions visual bcause of the intercooler.

Does Andial have the "CARB" sticker for their older intercoolers. If not does anyone have a stock for sale. I don't find them on ebay.

I think there is one on ebay now.
If you paint the andial black, I doubt they would even notice.

Pete at Andial said he's never heard of anyone being rejected for this mod. I should have just gone to another station.

Exactly, an intercooler has nothing to do with Emissions, its like failing you because you have painted valve covers.

His probably says Andial Racing on it and the idiot lights went off at the station.

I had mine inspected today, took maybe 5 min, took one look under the hood and closed the bonnet. I'm glad my plain black Andial attracts zero attention, looks stock.

California looks for any change from stock even if it otherwise passes. What an intercooler has to do with anything is beyond me.
