Default 30k Service

Guys
Considering buying an '89 Turbo. Car is due for a full 30k service, including valve adjust and fan belts. Would like to know what cost would/should be for this?
Also, what are typical items I should be asking about? Car currently has 35k miles.
TIA

The basic parts for the service will run about $500 give or take. I replaced everything including the muffler and spent $3,200 on parts. However this included rebuilding the turbo which it probably did not need as only minor play in the shaft, the WG, and putting on all new plug ends which are not cheap. Labor is a guess only. I am saying $1k or more as it is probably an 8hr or more job for a professional depending on what you decide to do. Once I decided to replace the cat and stock muffler the rest was an easy decision as you might as well freshen everything up while you are in there.

Get a PPI, and if you are worried a leak down test. A PPI however can miss things but if you are mechanically inclined most things can repaired yourself.

It will probably be about the same as an air cooled car except for the extra labor involved removing things to get to the valves. I would guess an extra 4 hours labor would cover it.
