Default Replace broken hood cable

Hi,
I have a 1987 turbo (930).
The front trunk latch cable is broke. I have tried as temporary solution to have a new cable installed. Have tried to push in cable both from driver position and from the trunk. The cable don't however turn up on the other side.

The steel/plastic wrapped outer part has probably loosened close to the wall between trunk and cabin. I can follow the cable from front but am not able to see the last part of the tracing.

Have ordered a new bowden cable however guess that is only the cable and not what is outside and it will not help anything. Wondered whether taking off left front wheel would give me better access.

Guess some of you have replaced the bowden cable system and not only the steel cable.

Thanks
Per Arne

I think you will have to jack it up and take off the L front wheel.
I would also post on pelican parts web site, they have a very active 930 site.
