I am upgrading my 87 930 to 18 inch Speedline wheels. Does anyone have an idea of which brand tires are the best? I only do summer driving as the car never sees wet pavement.

Mich super sports are great. What size rims/offsets are you using? Spacers?

I recently put a set of Bridgestone S04 on my Speedlines. 285-30 in the rear. I haven't driven it much, but so far I am pleased.

I'd be happy to help you tailor a good one. Please give me a call if I can help. Thanks.

No large spacers needed like I have now with the OZ wheels. Jim Dorociak is building me a set and is almost done. May need a very small set on the rear to completely fill up the rears when we get the wheels mounted. Going with 315/30 in the rear and 235/40 in the front

18's give you a lot of choices. Whats the budget? Hard to beat PS2's

I have the 17" Direzza Star Specs. Nice tires

The Tire Rack no longer carries tires for stock 930 with stock 7 and 9 inch rims.
I had the same problem, but was able to obtain the correct tire from:
www.tires-easy.com
Bought NEXEN N3000
245/45ZR 16
205/55ZR 16
Very happy with them, good service.
