Anyway...I would bet the reason for the low miles since it's been up there is because those were track miles.
My guess is it is a Torsen locking diff.

imo even $40k is too much for a 115k mile car. especially if its been beat on most of its life. not many would spend that much on modifications and not put the car to "use"

If it were a 4spd, I'd say you were correct. However, this one has a G50 in it, and that conversion is $15k+.

Thanks for all the feedback. I am now the proud owner of my first Porsche930! I pick her up next week and will post more pics. I found out a lot of the history from the previous owner and reviewed the paperwork. She never saw the track and every receipt for over $70K worth of xtras is meticulously filed. The original car manuals are stamped with every service. She is undeniably a dangerous beauty. She hisses like a snake, coiled and waiting for her owner to step on the gas. What a sound.
I will post pics when I pick her up.

Cheers!

Subscribed! Counting on you to put up more photos and details. I am agonizing over a 930 Turbo purchase myself - I need to stop thinking and start buying.

Contrats and enjoy it to the max.
