The 930 let me down!
Heading out to run some errands yesterday and about two miles from home my '85 eurosport 930 suddenly started missing badly, would barely idle, and had no power. Then the unmistakable odor of lots of raw gas filled the passenger compartment. Nursed it to a safe place and called the AAA flat-tow express to come get my car and haul it up to Sid at Troysport. It needed a few other things too, like an oil change, valve adjustment, and such so no big deal. It's just the car is so darn reliable I'm not used to it leaving me in the lurch. Hopefully it's "just" a fuel pump or something similar crapped out. It had been runniing great just before the hard failure too.

Sounds like the WUR diaphragm has gone..... Was there fuel in the airbox? Good time to get the WUR made adjustable Jim.....
Hope all is well your end, long time no speak

We'll know soon enough what the issue is. I kind of agree with Jonathan, I think the WUR is the culprit. I've gotten so lazy I didn't even do much troubleshooting on it myself. Just called for the tow. How have you been Jonathan? Hope all is well with you. I really haven't been on the boards much lately. I'll be starting my consultant hitch at LMC now that I've sat out my year. Good possibility I might be back in the UK soon. If I do I'll be in touch mate.

Good news is it was "just" a fuel line line. Bad news is now I'm replacing them all as they're probably OEM and if one failed they'll all probably be ready to leak. Lucky I shut her down, it would've burned to the water line in a couple of more minutes if I hadn't.
