Default 87 slantnose

Looking to get into an 87 slant. I have a little dilemma because there is 2 serial numbers on car. One inside the trunk under carpet wp0zzz93zhs070098 another inside driver door WP0EB093XHS070098 that says Replacement identification number. Car has certificate of authenticity with the first vin. Any help would be appreciated

So the VIN on the drivers side sticker in the door jam is different from that on the chassis under the trunk carpet above the spare?

Any more history or details on the car. Perhaps a pic or two of both locations....

Do a search, pretty common. My 86 and 89 have the same issue with the vins. Porsche made the bodies then destined some of the cars for the US requiring the change in vin prefix. Last numbers are always the same, if they are different then you have a problem. Got a picture of the option code sticker?

Ah yes I was tired and didn't actually read the numbers. 89slant story is one I've heard before.
