possible meet in Torrance, Ca......
Hey guys,
I just posted a thread in "Events" about a possible meet in Torrance, Ca. I would love to get some 930's out there. here's the info so you don't have to go looking for it.....
I was wondering if anyone in the Southbay would like to have some meets on Sunday mornings? I was thinking of having it in the parking lot where Sully's / Island Grinds is at. It has a big parking lot and you can get some good eats, too! Sully's is a sports bar that merged with Island Grinds (a hawaiian restaurant), so you can watch sports, drink, and have a good breakfast! hahahaa. Here's the address:

I was thinking of having the first one on November 27th, 2011 at 9:30!

AKA,
My '79 930 is on stands waiting for me to finish it up this weekend. I'm in HB. Started this project in Feb and still haven't finished. Too busy with other goings ons and I'm a rookie mechanic. If I get it done this weekend I would be up to meet in the next few weekends. Car has not been driven since last winter.

Wow, sounds great! Let us know when you get it up and running. We definitely need more people to come out. It was a bad time to start a meet since it was Thanksgiving weekend, but I would definitely want to see more Porsches come out. Then we can caravan to the Lunada Bay meet in PV (5-10 min. drive). There were mostly Ferraris at that one.
