VIN numbers on a 1979

Will Carfax be able to run a vin from 1979. Can anyone on the forum do it?

No Mario .............. VIN must have 16 numbers.

However, CarFax can run the VIN of an '87 Turbo

Has to be newer than 1980 I believe.
