Default left side cam

I took my engine down to address an oil leak and decided to rebuild the upper engine. After tear down I noticed my left cam needed to be replaced. Anyone have an extra left cam? Ideas to go SC grind? If so, what would be the timing spec? 1987 930
Thanks!
Rob

Rob: I have an '81 and may change my cams out soon. I too will wait from other owners who have made cam changes to see thier reccomendations. There's always a trade off with cams, more torque at lower end or more HP at higher end...

I have a set of sc cams I just took out of my car for 964 cams.. I will let them go cheap. One needs to resurfaced. I had a very minor tap from one of the lobes. If I had to do it all over I would have stayed with the sc cams. For the street I think the sc cams are the best. The 964 pull harder up top be I like the way the sc come on down low...

Thanks for the offer, after researching I'm sending cams out to get the SC grind at Dougherty racing cams. Timing is 1.4 - 1.mm
