I think the point that both Green and I are aluding to is if this is not an 86 yr. correct speedo, then how can it be the correct mileage? I have seen this speedo before, but not on a u.s. car. Could have been done at the factory.

O.K. Since I brought this speedo issue up, I feel responsible for it. Went back through old posts and lots of classified ads to see if I could find an awnser.
Seems that the factory used the older configeration speedo (with white line) early in 1986 911 production. Found two other 86 930's mfg. in fall of 1985 that have similar speedo's. Since all were 160MPH (turbo and non turbo) it was just a use up for all 911 cars.
