What does this switch do?
Hey Guys, I bought my '81 911 Turbo last year. in cleaning the car this weekend. i located this rocker switch located under the dash and underneath the temp/pressure gauge. It's right next to the sunroof rocker switch. Owners' manual shows nothing...
IN the attached pic it is the switch over the ignition/key switch.
Anyone know what the switch does????

The good design folks at Porsche didn't seem to exhibit any logic as to where they stuck the various switches and controls. The mirror switch and the sunroof switch I use periodically, but others I always have to think about a bit.
This weekend, I treated all the leather surfaces inside and shined up the dash and gauges. This morning, I jump in to go to work and the damn wipers went through one revolution. So I flip the lever on the steering column (which was already off), dicked around a bit and finally remembered the delay potentiometer in the dash...which I had accidentally clicked on whilst cleaning. I've used that thing only a couple of times when I actually got caught in some rain. Guess I can't claim my car has never seen rain now.

I've had my car for 15 years and I had no clue about that intermittent wiper button.. lol. Where is that little sucker located on the dash??

Has anyone had trouble with the inside courtesy light and inside kerb light not coming on as either door is opened? I have checked and the fuse and all bulbs are working. I removed the inside cluster above the mirror and bridged across a couple of contacts and all bulbs are working ok. Can anyone tell me where to locate the actual door switch which brings on theses lights.
