Facebook makes me sad.

Maybe I should just start it. How hard can it be?

^I am not on Facebook either...RL is enough computer work for me!

And I would be interested in a 930 Registry.

Trust me, I don't have a facebook account, but you can still look at the site. I'm in if RL puts one together.

I'd be in.. As well - if folks would like some aspect to a unique web presence, I could probably make that happen as well..?

Also - any news from conversations with PCA about starting ("re-starting", I'm not certain?) a 930 Registry..?

In the '90's I was in discussions with an old customer , via phone + fax before the internet days about a 930 registry he started. Not sure...I think his name is Doug Garvin, and he had all of the total #s of early 930 turbos produced for each year: '76-'79. I still have his notes and will post data as I get time.
My 1979 is production #742, purchased new at Beverly Hills Porsche+Audi. A newer / complete 930 registry will need all of these 930 + '86 up 911 turbo cars, USA and ROW cars, and grey market cars, in order to be "Close to complete".

The production numbers for the 930 is available in many books/periodicals. I don't think they're any deviations.

Here is a new 930 3.0 litre registry that just came on-line..for 75-77 cars.

I'll check out this interest with my local Porsche zone representative. He attended our cars +coffee last month and was very much into the enthusiasm of all of our air-cooled cars in the Plaza.
Porsche is very much into the money generated into their pockets by restoration and preservation of their marque, the 930 included.
