Default Signature on Repair Authorization Forced After the Work is Performed-Not Requested B4

What do you think of a mechanic that makes you sign the invoice of the pre estimate of work repairs after all the work is done.
By State law, I believe the signature of authorization is required before and not after ALL the work is performed.

Its a slippery slop...

I always try and get an exact or flate rate price when possible as projects and the cost associated can spin out of control...

I like that comparison.
"spin out of control"
That has happened to me on the track as well as in a repair shop.

I think your mechanic just graduated from law school.

I think I'd find a new mechanic.

Who do you all use on Long Island and NYC.
Or should I say "DO NOT USE?"
It is OK to email me direct?
I hope to hear from you all.
