1989 930 Wiring Diagrams
Does anyone know where I can get wiring idagrams for my 1989 930? I would like to have all of the diagrams, but right now I am having a problem with the heater blower motors in the front footwells. They never shut off completely.

I have my old CD copy of the complete factory manual which has all of the diagrams in it if you want to buy it. $100. It also includes many more manuals on DIY and routine maintenance. I sold my car but have this CD left. It is published by a company in Austrailia and is not a bogus copy.

I believe I already have the same CD from a company in Australia. The problem I have with it is that the wiring diagrams are not legible.
That was a good looking 930. Why did you sell it?

I just checked my pdf of the factory manuals and I had no issue with the legibility of the diagrams. It might be your resolution on your computer. I am sending a screen shot from my computer and you might be able to see how good my view is. However sometimes these jpeg transfers are automatically down sized to a lower standard. I checked my snap shot and it is not as good as my original but if you make it a full screen it is legible.

the foot well blowers are supposed to run all the time. they are made from plastic and it keeps them from being exposed to too much heat and melting them. so when the are off they still runn slowly to keep air flowing through them.

Thanks!
Kens911,
Thank you. I was not aware that the blowers are supposed to run continuosly. I guess the reason I am aware of them running is that they are making noise. Any suggestions for repair/replacement of the blowers?

Supposedly there is a bosch motor that can be substituted. I just unplugged mine. Do a search on Pelican.

I'm telling ya....if this forum were to ever melt down and lose the volumes of information stored here, it would be a catastrophy on-par with Japan's tsunami.
My blowers "suck" instead of blow. After a preliminary investigation, for me it's certainly in the control console which I just haven't taken the time to open up and fix. There are excellent threads here on that topic as well. I'll fix 'em before I sell the car, so that I can claim that everything works. But then, we will have to wait for a cold day in hell...at which point I'll need the blowers to keep warm.

Bill,
Use caution when you put the squirrel cages back onto the motor driveshaft. You want to make sure they are down far enough to clear the shroud once they are re-assembled. Too high on the shaft and they will destroy themselves against the shroud the first time you turn them on. Ask me how I know.
