Any suggestions on tire sizes for RUF 17x8 17x10 wheels? My car is lowered pretty low and it scrapes a bit sometimes during bumps or hard turns.

 

My 930 is lowered. I have 235/40-17 and 275/40-17 (Michelin PS2) on my 17x8 17x10 Kinesis wheels. The 235/40 on the front makes for around 24.5 inch overall diameter, which provides a little extra room when the suspension compresses. The 275/40 on the rear makes for 25.5 inch diameter.

 

Thats a great shot of your car Craig; love it! I just ordered the Sumitomos HTRZ 3 to burn up on my 89 930 this go round.. I read from other Porsche guys that the bang for buck couldnt be beat and that traction for a 300 tread wear rating was pretty impressive given the price point. I will post my thoughts later as I'm doing an AX and a DE in the coming week. Under 500.00 for a set. : )

 

Being a street machine, I don't go below Euro ride height. I'm still running torsion bars (23/31) so getting a bit more squat than I'd like under power, but for my application I like the balance of 235/45ZR17 & 285/40ZR17. Could go with 245 in front for improved turn-in, but with adj. sways it's tuned nicely for the street as is. With ~400 hp the rears usually hold just fine so I've not gone any wider.
