Back in 1988, I owned a 78 930. I have owned many Porsches since but still have a yearning to go home again. I am looking for a 78-79 930. Perfer Silver/blk but will consider any color but black. I have been looking in the usual places, E-bay, Auto trader, Excellance, Sloan ect. Anybody got a lead.
If I can't find a 78-79, would consider 87-89. Thanks for any help

Hi Guys,
I am interested in buying a 1988 Porsche 911 Turbo (930) from a Porsche Dealership...
Naive question, but what is the approach for performing a PPI in that case? Should still take the car to an independent mechanic to get an un-baised, objective assessment on the car?
Please let me know what you think at your earliest convenience.
Thanks in advance and regards,

honestly you are much better off buying from an enthusiast than a dealer unless their name is willhoit, sloan or rpm... I know many if not all here will agree. Besides most dealers selling these cars have them on consignment anyways.
