Default '76 Turbo Carrera #00061

Guys,

Allow me to introduce myself and my new to me 1976 Turbo Carrera #00061. I purchased this car about 6 months ago. The previous owner lovingly restored her including Motor, suspension, brakes, interior, exterior, etc. Everything to original specifications (except wheels). Repaint in original Grand Prix White, Black leather. Spent entire life in California. Per Certificate matching motor and trans. Options: California Equipment, Sports Seats L/R, Dunlop Tires. Non-sunroof, Blaupunkt CR radio. Most all replacement seals and trim sourced using NOS or good condition originals, no reproductions.
I always loved the early turbos and this car didn't disappoint, drives as new. I have owned 5 or 6 911's ranging from a '71S 2.2 to a '97 C2S and this is the most fun to drive IMHO. Pure Porsche, light and raw. Dying breed ? .... I think we are early adaptors!

Tom

Wow, that is incredible. The interior looks like it just rolled out of the factory.

This car is out of Woodland Hills/ Calabasas area of the San Fernando valley. I use to see the owner of this car at the Sunday morning coffee and cars in Calabasas. It's truely stunning.... The car was on EBAY several months back and i lost track. Looks like it made to a great owner. Congratulations and Enjoy !

+1 ........ this was actually on ebay a few times and I almost bit on it. Owned by a real estate developer in that area.

If my memory serves, Tony and Marco at TLG redid the motor and tranny. They are good guys and can help you with this car.

It is a sunroof delete like my white '76 # 00233. Very few with sunroof delete ! ! ! !

Enjoy !

Beautiful car, but IIRC the factory boost gauge in the tach didn't show up until the '77 model year. Just being a nit on an otherwise awsome find. +1 on the sunroof delete...its for the few that know the difference
