looking for a 930
hello all like the title states i am looking for a 930. i currentlly do not know a whole lot about them, but i am trying to learn more. i just want to know is there sertain things i should look for? common problems? any thing along those lines. i am lookin for a 1989 turbo just to keep/make nice, not going to race or any thing. if this is to vauge and i need to give mroe info on what im looking for let me know. not a stranger to Porsche have had a 944 turbo for about 2 years now so i understand the costs involved.

The search is the best part. As with any Porsche a ppi is a must. Compression and leak down are also a must. Check for your usual rust and any accidents repairs. Service records are a help(but not always avail due to a DIY kind of person). Books and manual are a plus. Don't shy away from a car with small mods. IMO a mod that I would welcome is a suspension upgrade(keep in mind that since 1989 suspension have come a long way). Nothing like control. An 89 is a great car(G50 Tranny) but check out older ones too..not too different...

I have a very nice 930 that I am interested in selling. If your interested shoot me an email and I can send you some info and some pics. It is rare as it is the only one with this color combo in 89..Its been paint metered and is all 100% original.

I still have my '87 for sale. It's been gone over engine/tranny and some minor mods to make it perform better. All coil overs and new wheels/tires. I have a ton of OEM parts like the Fuchs with hand painted center caps. Asking $28K
