Thanks for the feedback Rob, I'm glad you are enjoying it. You dont need a support bracket on our Intercooler on the backside because the front bracket was designed to hold down the entire unit very well. It also uses slip on hoses with hose clamps, so it will not come off. Unlike the Factory Porsche IC, it had to have the support bracket because it used O-rings for sealing, so it could pop right off if it hit a bump, which was a faulty design. Ours will not have any problems and is well mounted when installed.

I've seen the fs IC, it's basically a modem kokeln .
I don't think you would have any issues at all with mounting. FS stuff generally fits pretty well.

Thanks for the explanation. Still can't get comfortable with no rear bracket and relying on a silicon coupler. No disrespect, but I think I'll stump up for a TurboKraft unit for about the same cash.

Hey B951S, I understand but I just want you to know, this Intercooler was not released without thinking everything through. We did a lot of R&D with this before it was released and we looked at a rear support for it, but it was not necessary due to our front bracket design and they way it is fitted on the car. I can promise, you wont be disappointed. PM sent with more info.
