Default Wheel Offset - Forgeline Wheels on 930

I'm ordering a set of Forgeline wheels for my 1986 930 and I'm told the specs are as follows:

Front 9x17 - +31mm offset using the stock front spacer

Rear 11x17 - +6mm offset without (remove) the stock spacer

Can anyone confirm the offsets are correct?

Regards, Dave

What size are your tires?

Just ask Dave Schardt at Forgeline. He owns and drives all kinds of Porsches and can probably cite offsets off his head. Hes a great guy and they are a local business to me.

Front 255/40ZR17
Rear 315/35ZR17

I was hoping someone had Forgelines and could confirm the fitment on the wheels. I am working with Dave @ Forgeline and I love the fact that Forgeline builds and finishes all of their wheels in-house.

Just make sure you don't run the same offsets on your '86 that he's running on his '91.

Looking at this page, it looks like stock offsets are 23mm/15mm. I think that's with the stock rear spacer, though. You're looking to eliminate that, I see.

Set of Fikses that I was looking at were 9 and 11x17 front/rear... 30 mm front and 13 mm rear if that helps.

Default Delivered

Forgeline delivered my new wheels right on schedule and they did a beautiful job. I am very happy with the finish and the guys @ Forgeline are an absolute pleasure to deal with. I struckout with a couple of other wheel manufacturers before I placed my order with Forgeline ... My advice to anyone looking for wheels is to call them first, they're the real deal, no marketing bs.

Default Pictures coming

Guys,

I just finished replacing the entire suspension with Elephant Racing components, including adjustable spring plates, which took about 4 months. So, I need to knock the dust off the car and I'll post some pictures this weekend. I've attached a lowres from my phone ... car is Prussian Blue with 1/4" of dust.

Regards, Dave

That rear fitment sure is tight. What spring rates are you running? I've more room than that & still have some light contact under heavy squat.

Oh and yes it's a great look!
