Default Anybody know the guys at Unwired Tools?

It seems the 930 turbo is the UTCIS-PTs primary market, so I'm hoping you guys can help me.

I had a UTCIS-PT in my car. I sent it to unwired tools to be upgraded to the new unit and because it had broken (would set the control pressure to 1.5 bar no matter what). On 2/19 they told me the unit had arrived the day before. They told me it would ship back to me 2/22. On 3/6 I e-mailed them to see if it had shipped. On 3/8 I got a response from Steve that he would look into it and get back to me later that day. I have e-mailed them twice since then (3/11 and 3/15). No response. I left a voicemail yesterday, still no response.

Anybody know them? At this point I'm pretty much thinking they've ripped me off for $700.

I have one of their units. I don't think that they ripped you off. In my experience they are just very slow to respond - to say the least...

Well, the thing that worries me is that they've been VERY cordial on the phone in the past, VERY helpful, and overall great. To disappear like this is VERY worrisome. THat and my car having been parked for more than a month because of this is VERY aggravating.

I found this thread.

It's starting to really feel like I've been taken for a ride.

I know duplicate posts are frowned on, but given the nature of my post I figured I should duplicate the response made in another thread.

Well, I just heard back from Unwired. Apparently they were working on a parts availability issue. I wish they had better communication (simply saying "hey, it's going to take a few weeks longer than we thought" is a lot more comforting than silence), it's better than the alternative explanation I had arrived at in my mind.

Then again, still no unit. Left a VM yesterday, no response.
