I fully agree, my point was just that not everything is original spec. It's always a balance act when enhancing something this old. Enhancing too much and the right feeling can be lost. So I can understand the idea to have the exhausts mis-aligned.

Are you aiming at taking this car up to 260 mph? On asphalt or a salt lake?

 

The goal is 260 mph or over on asphalt/concrete...now here's the part that's going to be hard:

doing it in under 1 mile from a standstill.

That one has been for sale for quite sometime.

It appears to be a very cool car.. not enough of a description to determine how competitive it would be for club racing these days, or if it would be eligable for historic/vintage competion.

Driving skillz, yes - i've grown to develop the ***** and coolness required to pilot this thing. Going to a driver instruction event in Oct with her as well.

Trust me, as a few have noticed on the drives we did, I play it safe and don't go beyond my level of comfort - stock 930s blow by me and that's fine by me.
