I'm a 993 guy, but a friend is thinking of pulling the trigger on a '79 Turbo. Can you guys give me your thoughts:

Original Paint
32,000 miles
Triple Black
Nice condition (interior and body)
Leaks a little oil

Seller is asking $30,000

Is this car overpriced?

They all seem to leak a little oil..
32k miles? I have never figured why one of the fastest and most fun to drive production cars always seem to have this low mileage.

The car is right on the bubble..could be priced right if it is really clean , low miles, un-modified or either properly modified..

Best advice is get a PPI before he decides.. any pics?

I agree on the full PPI. Such low mileage can present problems with seals, belts etc.. That may be why its leaking. Not usually a big deal, but it may impact what your buddy should really pay for the car. Full leak down would be in order for sure.
