935's or 917s

Guns, so now I know what your up to. I'll keep this quiet over at pelican forum. Can't wait to see either of your beasts next year.
Back to this subject...I first discovered 917 before 935. It's two completely different animals. A 935 looks like it can be driven on the street but a 917 is well looks more like a flat rocket sled. If I have to pick one then a 935 gets my pic since I'm bias anyway!

Sorry for the threadjack but its kinda related the worshiping of the 935!
Triplenet: that front is about 6-8" wider than a stock turbo setup...so unless you do the whole car it'll look funny. Plus, its hard to find reproductions that are of good quality, AIR and GT Racing have them, but the panel shape and fitment is terrible. Contact Speedwerks in North Carolina, they might have a line on some.
Mike: Cats out the bag, its going to be done in february, i'll post up pics as I get them in a new thread on Pelican and here for those interested.
For me the 917 is ultimate badassery, but in a super refined and perfectly engineered way for the time. The 935 to me is just a statement of "F**K YOU" to the FIA from the original slantnose concept and just proof of what Porsche can do when it puts its muscle behind its brain.
2 perfect examples of what made this company sooooooooooooooooo wonderful.
