Buy it now at $1.5m!!! That's a lot of cash!!! Nice bit of history though, imagine doing the Le Mans Classic in that, now that would be something!!

I don't get it...$1.5M for that old tired, worn out track car...it looks beat to $hit..if it were perfectly restored I might be able to understand that price. Flat Fan...needs parts fuhgedaboutit. Museum piece at best...I offer $50K.

You will have more fun in a new 997 GT2 or GT3.

The seller is obviously banking on some fool to step forward. My mommy taught me better than that. Maybe he's hoping Porsche International will buy it back for their museum in the mother country. The thing looks totally toasted, who cares what the history is. It would need to be totally restored and a simple thing like RUNNING to command that price. Whadaya think I am....stooopid???

Obviously you guys have not been watching Barret Jackson auction or you would know that everything sells for a premium over everyday prices. There is some rich guy who has so much money that he needs something to impress his pals with. This will suit him to a tee. He will be able to show the race history and claim part of the glory. I don't begrudge them this honor because it is great that someone thinks enough about the history of our cars to invest that much money. Most of us look at that pile of sh*t and wonder what we could build or buy with that kind of money.

Classic!

The seller sounds like a real a-hole.
