I bought a car similar's to Chuck's w/o as nice of paint (probably) for a little less. 930 have always been a tough sell, especially modded ones. I sold a nicely modded 79 a few years ago, G50 conversion, Kinesis supercup wheels, nice car for high $20's on ebay. The collectors are starting to pic up nice unmodded 930 but that is not what you have for sale.

Had a seller fall through awhile back and it really made me think twice about selling it but I am getting close to buying a house so its back up for sale. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=300439499421

I will take 33k from a rennlister or a PCA member. May be open to a 996 trade with cash.

Thanks,
Scott

I remember when Stephen Kaspar was building your engine and his post tuning it, I imagine it is bargain basement time relative to what you have in it, I wish you luck selling it and I hope I don't have to walk that line.

Thanks schnele,

Yeah its is basement price for me but its ok. I will save money on the next Porsche that i will build . It really is a nice car, i just don't drive it anymore.

The car was at Imagine Auto for awhile but he didn't rebuild the engine, just about everything else on the car, the PO had the engine rebuilt. Its going to be a steal for the next owner.

Back up on ebay with a lower price, i am shocked that it hasn't sold yet. I did something that no 930 owner should do and add up everything i have into the car (over 81k) and almost threw-up. hell of a deal for someone else.

I got $19,000 for mine- I thought it was worth $30,000- $250,000 invested over 13 years. Much more in it than yours. Good luck.

I can't believe this car hasn't sold. This is a hell of a car for the money. The color is awesome. One of my all time favorite 930's that came through IA. This car will give you a serious case of vertigo when you put the gas to the floor.

Gofishracing- Thanks for the hope.... I will keep it wayyyyyyyyy before i sold it any where near that price.

Doc- Too bad you can't drive it now, the suspension rebuilt did wonders for the car. It is so easy (for a 930) to drive now. Thanks again for all the hard work you put into the car.

Baron- you and me both. I will just keep being patience.

Gofishracing your car was nowhere as nice as this, I remember your silver 930 when you used to come by to visit Don and Artie at Autosport Performance in Englewood NJ. Don built my M6 the 450 plus HP that I got in the clink for driving at 175mph on the LIE ring a bell?

Ok once again this car is for sale. I got so busy with the new house and crazy busy at work and kinda slacked off on listing it, but no more!! I spent about 5 hours yesterday at work (PATRICK MOTORSPORTS) and did a full PPI on the car with our other factory trained tech. To tell the truth I was stoked to see the leak down numbers as low as they are, 3-4% a crossed the board (engine was warm). I also did a nut and bolt on the suspension and replaced the shift rod seal at the tranny and topped of the fluids. Overall this car is like a 9.5 out of 10 mechanically, one small oil leak and the 3rd gear syncro is just starting to be temperamental if you try and speed shift. The body is super clean with a few small chips and one small dent in the right fender. The interior is ok, the dash was dyed black (not well). The seats are in great shape.

I have driven this car 6 times this year (one time on the track just to show a student the line). I am starting a 84 3.6 conversion race car so I would love to give this car a new home. With the leak down as low as it is and everything sorted this car is worth much more than 30k but that is what i am asking. If you would like other parts like A/C (I have a compressor that is included) I would be happy to find them and give you the best deal I can at work. Please let me know if anyone has any questions. Would be open for a trade for a 996 or 996TT

Thanks,
Scott
