Default RE: Turbo Graphic Feedback

I have always dug the original Carrera graphic from the Mid 70's. Unfortunately, Porsche never came up with anything similar for the 930.
Consequently, I decided to create my own. Let me know what you think.

I like it but would prefer it with black wheels. Cool car nonetheless.

Thanks...the decals are magnetic and can be removed (if I ever get tired of them). They look even better in real life. I may stick a pair on ebay for the fun of it.

The wheels are HRE 511's, 9's front 11's rear. Unfortunately, HRE does not make them anymore. Lindsey has picked up the mantle and make a similar wheel. In my opinion, the fuchs center keeps the classic look of the car.

Going with black centers with the black script would be correct/consistant with the 70's Carrera. Although the RSR deviated.

They would look awesome on your car with the black wheels and trim. I am in the process of creating a second pair using a decal cutter. The first pair I cut out by hand with a rotary cutter and xacto...it took too long. I also added a hood stripe in the same material. Initially I didn't like it, but it grew on me. See attached.

Cost would be approx. $75 per side. I would provide a magnetic template that makes it easy to place.

I'm usually not a fan of white 911/930's but I like yours. the graphics are cool, as are the Porsche logo on the windshield and black hood stripe. The car looks really tied togerther.

Thanks for all the great feedback. I have to say when I first added the turbo graphic I got a flashback to 1975 when I first saw my neighbors White 74 Carrera...hot damn! It just seems to be so right and so Porsche. The inspiration for the hood stripe came from a factory option in 74 called "safety painting". Thank you Tony Lapine.

Are you from Puerto Rico?
Yep, located in Texas now. Do we know each other?
BTW, great cars you got there!
I also have "twin reds": an 87 930, and an 02 996TT X50.

If memory serves, I think there was a graphic for the early Turbo that ran kind of over the rear fender.

Your's looks good!
