Default super rich on cold start

Had to replace back fuel pump and ever since car is running super rich on cold start. I checked cold pressure and I have it set at 1.8. After warm up it goes to 3.8.
At cold start up my A/F is 10.0 to 10.5. After warm up it is at 13.8 to 14.2. I am fouling plugs out because it is so rich in the morning. I have an adjustable warm up regulator. Should I bump the cold pressure up more?
Thanks John

Yes, try bumping it up to around 2.0 or so and go from there. Mine's set at 2.0, which if memory serves is richer than stock settings, and she runs fine cold. I would have to pull out the manual, but I think normal is supposed to be 2.3 (for my '87)? Again, just an often faulty memory talking here!

But the stranger part is how your replacement of a fuel pump resulted in low control pressure. I suspect that your system pressure must have dropped because the new pump isn't puting out as much as the old pump? Just a theory.....
