Default Anyone familiar?

Seems like a nice car for a good price.

Any thoughts on this vehicle?

The race seats were taken out and the seats pictured substituted in their place I would guess. ( this car was probably tracked. Street cars generally do not have a fire suppression system in place) Additionally, it appears that the intercooler was for a twin turbo set up and the right intake tube to the intercooler does not appear connceted...

I would want to go over this car very closely. Might be a very nice car. Might have lots of little issues.

Sharp looking car!
Not sure how important it is to you, but it has the Euro rear fog light and unless it's a typo or add-on, I believe 5-speeds didn't appear on 930's until 1989. Also, I know it's for handling, but it has non-matching tire brands (BFG & Pilot Sports), but I'm particular like that.
My thoughts: If you want a track car, it might be worth a look provided the mechanicals check out during a PPI. If you want one for a driver, keep looking because you should be able to get one with similar mileage for about the same price and most likely fewer headaches down the road.
Good luck!

Loks like he built it up with wood blocks to make heel and toe driving easier. Should have just lowered the brake pedal...

Is that a stock color? Or is it Guards red and the lighting make it look orange? The paint doesn't seem to "shine" or have a high gloss even with the florescent lights. Not a ROW car, but has the rear fog light.

Those harness straps are worthless with the stock seats. They need to be used with a seat that has the shoulder harness holes. The Safety Devices cage is a good one as far as bolt in cages go. Needs door bars and a dash bar to be better.

I don't think it has a fire suppression system, but is does have a remote electrical cut off swith using a "Fire" pull ****.

My 87 coupe has the third brake light in the rear window. Does this car have a cab third brak llight?

If you want a modded car and the PPI checks out, it might be a good car. Price is high though.

I agree it has been a track car. Spend the money to fly out to see the car and have am inspection. My concerns would be motor as well. PPI for sure.

no air conditioning either. if thats important to you it can be expensive to replace and wont fit with that intercooler anyway. also, not having it might hurt your chance for resale

Kinda looks like a real budget track car, with some pretty tacky mod.'s. Then cobbled back together to make it sorta a street car again. If it was put together with this much lack of care...how was it maintained???
Doesn't even look like the right side intercooler intake is plugged, does it even run? Asking 30k...hummm...

Nicer, no story cars are out there. I bought my 89 with 55K miles and a FSH for less than the BIN price. Good deals are out there but you have to look for them........

The seats are put in the wrong sides. Look at the controls they are on the inside of the seats when they should be on the outside.
