Default boost issue

lately I have been having a boost issue. I have a .8 bar spring in tial wastegate. In the lower gears it goes to 12lbs then drops down to 10lbs around 5000rpms. In 4th gear it will hold 12lbs to redline. My tranny is regeared. 1st goes to 50. 2nd to 80. 3rd to 115 and 4th to about 145. My turbo is a k27hf. I have no smoking issues and engine seems to run very good. I was thinking maybe I have a small air leak in one of the hoses? what do you guys thinks

Possible,
Ever had your wastegate open?
I had to change the diaphram in mine, it had small wear holes in it making it eratic on the boost.
Its one of thoes things that you should look at its condition if you never have.
Also your intercooler, seals could be shot or leaking. Easy to change.

Have you had the intercooler off? Or changed anything?

When I was working on my OEM WG I found that it leaked quite a bit around the valve stem. This can change the value of the WG opening and closing.

I checked the wastegate. I opened it up and the diaphram looks very good. I have had the intercooler off a number of times and all the boots look good. I will do a smoke test and see what happens.
Thanks John
