I need some help. I took out my 1980, 930 engine and trans this weekend to start my rebuild. The engine is out sitting on a furniture cart. I unbolted the four nuts that holds the trans on (I think there are only 4). When I pull on the trans to separate it from the block the top of the trans separates from the engine case but the bottom still seems stuck.
Is there a 5th nut that I missed? I did not take off the clutch helper arm and Omega spring. These parts only appeared to be connected to the trans and no relation to the engine case. Am I wrong? Does this clutch helper arm and spring need to come off too or did I just miss a nut?
Thanks for your help.

You have to remove the clutch adjusting arm. Once free, the throw-out bearing fork will pivot on the bearing as you separate the engine. Don't believe the factory manual on separating and mating. There is a trick to it.
