I'm just going to register it as early american (20 years old in CT) so the property taxes will only be on a value of $500. I can also run a 1987 CT plate on the early american reg if I find one.
The AC is low and is still original R12, what does everyone usually do, find R12 or a R134A conversion?

With the OEM hoses you will always have to refill the system. If its a real nice car and you need the A/C go ahead and get the conversion along with a modern evaporator, compressor and hoses. The condensers will work ok but there are up grades for them too. One little thing that really helps is the foot outlet behind the console being converted to a lower dash mounted outlet with bi-directional grill.

Let me know, I have them on CL right now for $850 with tracks and the fire extinguisher mount, but let me know what they are worth to you. Thanks, I'm loving it so far, just ordered a boost gauge sender for it.

new 930
hi Fletcher. congratulations on this purchase. when I was looking last year, I couldn't find a 930 and in fact I did talk with John at elmsford auto (or Cheech). Sounds like a great car & he seems like a very credible operation based on my experience with him.
I live in Newtown, CT. I bought a 930 from San Francisco. It's a 1979 with a rebuilt motor by Jerry Woods at 455 hp. it's a great car to drive & I'd love to go riding with you. I also have the classic plates which is a great way to save personal propty. tax in CT.
