I just went back with the Mahle Motorsport rings. I haven't had the time to look into different rings although I remember a couple years back someone was using somthing along the lines of a total seal ring? I'm happy that a race motor lasted 15k miles of me beating the crap out of it before it needed rings. I think seating the rings on the dyno is important, and having your AFR's spot on is vital to not cracking rings. I believe that was part of my problem at 1.2.
